Ann Arbor Ski Team

image

The Ann Arbor Ski Team is a "unified club team" that competes with 11 other high school varsity teams at Mt. Brighton. The team is a registered non-profit organization, as described in the Program section of this web site. We are a club organization that includes racers from Ann Arbor area high schools.

The team is open to any family with one or more high school students interested in alpine racing. Because we are not affiliated with any school, the team is a student/skier and parent driven organization. We have had skiers from 7 local high schools, public and private.

The league schedule goes from early January to mid February, and includes slalom and giant slalom races. Training starts in late November; registration starts in October. The Ann Arbor Ski Team trains with and is coached by Vail/Mt Brighton's XLR8 race program. Discussions and last-minute plans are posted on the team facebook page: Ann Arbor Ski Team.
